Game description:
Fused 240 is a compact yet intense experience that drops players behind the wheel in a bleak and broken world. What begins as a simple task—driving and meeting people—quickly unravels into something far more violent and surreal. The environment feels empty but loaded with tension, where each stop along the road introduces unpredictable, often disturbing encounters. Conversations are brief, strange, and layered with discomfort, hinting at something wrong just beneath the surface.
Stripped-Down Controls with Unusual Impact
The game’s unconventional control scheme adds to the feeling of disconnection. F and N are used for driving, while S and I control a shifting mechanism that feels almost too manual, reinforcing the awkwardness of every action. Objects are picked up with the space bar, and what you do with them often matters more than expected. These mechanics make the driving feel mechanical and heavy—less like freedom, more like being trapped in motion, forced to keep going even when the destination makes no sense.
Designed to Unsettle, Not Explain
Created during the Fainting Room Game Jam, Fused 240 uses sharp contrast, minimal visuals, and bursts of violence to craft an experience that’s brief but memorable. The world never gives clear answers. Instead, it leaves players stuck between surreal realism and raw horror, watching as quiet roads lead to sudden bloodshed. The flickering lights, fragmented dialogue, and eerie emptiness all build into a mood that lingers long after the game ends.
