Your Turn To Die

Game description:

Your Turn To Die is a narrative adventure game built around a survival scenario where multiple characters are forced to participate in a “death game.” The story follows Sara Chidouin, who, together with several other participants, wakes up in a locked facility with no clear way to escape. The group is required to cooperate, investigate their surroundings, and take part in structured trials where decisions determine who survives. The central objective is to uncover the rules of the game while making choices that influence the outcome.

Story Structure and Death Game System

The narrative is divided into chapters, each introducing new situations and challenges. Players explore different floors of the facility, interact with characters, and collect information that helps them understand the situation. At certain points, the group must participate in main trials where they vote to decide who will be eliminated.

These voting sequences are central to the game. The player must analyze statements, detect contradictions, and influence discussions. Decisions made during these moments have permanent consequences, shaping both the story and character relationships.

During gameplay, players perform several key actions:

·         Exploring rooms and interacting with objects

·         Talking to characters to gather information

·         Participating in discussions and debates

·         Making decisions that affect survival outcomes

·         Solving puzzles and completing minigames

Investigation and Interaction Mechanics

The gameplay combines visual novel storytelling with point-and-click exploration. Players move between locations, examine objects, and collect clues. These clues are later used during discussions to challenge statements or reveal hidden details.

The interaction system emphasizes observation and reasoning. Instead of relying on action mechanics, the player must pay attention to dialogue and behavior. Certain segments also include timed challenges or puzzles that test reaction and logic.

Characters and Decision Making

The game includes a large cast of characters, each with their own motivations and personalities. Relationships between participants evolve over time depending on player choices. Some characters may become allies, while others act unpredictably or create conflict within the group.

Decision-making plays a central role in progression. The player is often required to choose between options that affect not only immediate events but also later chapters. Because of this, each playthrough can lead to different story paths and outcomes.
