Levels Built on Stillness and Isolation
The first environment, Dreampools, places you in a maze of glowing, tiled corridors filled with standing water and dim reflections. The sound design is sparse, amplifying each step and drip of water until silence feels oppressive. Then comes Eternal Suburbia, where identical homes stretch endlessly and looping interiors create a strange rhythm of comfort and discomfort. Though the world is static and calm, the uncanny tension grows with every room you explore, drawing you into a mental puzzle that never speaks its rules aloud.
An Expanding World of Uncertainty
Each level in Dreamcore is meant to feel like a standalone experience, complete with its own atmosphere and subtle psychological cues. With visuals inspired by VHS-era distortion and built using Unreal Engine 5, the environments feel oddly nostalgic and deeply artificial at the same time. More levels are planned beyond the initial two, and early players will gain access to them as they're released.
