Game description:
Endoparasitic is a top-down survival horror game where the player controls a scientist infected by a deadly alien parasite after an outbreak inside a remote research facility. During the attack, the protagonist loses three limbs and must crawl through the station using only one arm while fighting mutated creatures and searching for a way to survive. The game focuses on manual movement, resource management, and tactical combat under constant pressure from both enemies and the spreading infection.
Story and Research Facility
The story takes place inside a secret laboratory built on a remote asteroid where scientists were studying ancient parasites. After containment fails, the infection spreads through the station and transforms researchers into aggressive monsters. The protagonist, Cynte, becomes infected during the outbreak and must preserve important research data while trying to prevent the parasite from reaching his brain.
As the player moves through laboratories, maintenance sectors, and reception areas, hidden logs and notes reveal information about the parasite and the people who worked inside the facility. Other survivors occasionally appear during the story, but most of the station has already collapsed into chaos. The parasite itself acts as a permanent timer because the infection continues spreading during gameplay unless vaccines are injected regularly.
Gameplay and Combat Mechanics
Gameplay is built around deliberate manual actions. Every movement, reload, and interaction must be performed individually with the mouse, creating tension during combat encounters. Because the protagonist has only one usable arm, even basic actions such as dragging across the floor or loading bullets into weapons take time.
The game includes features such as:
Manual one-handed controls
Survival horror combat
Parasite infection system
Stealth and puzzle sections
Multiple weapons and boss fights
Weapons include pistols, shotguns, and other firearms that must be reloaded bullet by bullet while enemies continue attacking. Ammunition and vaccines are limited, forcing players to manage resources carefully.
Progression and Replayability
Endoparasitic is divided into connected sections of the research facility rather than open-world exploration. Each area introduces stronger enemies, more dangerous encounters, and additional environmental hazards. Some sequences focus on stealth and puzzle-solving, while others involve direct combat against large mutated creatures.
