Silenced

Game description:

In Silenced, players step into the role of Erin, a young woman fresh out of high school, compelled by a deeply personal quest to revisit an abandoned elementary school. Her objective is clear yet daunting: to find her lost journal that lies hidden within the decrepit school’s walls. The environment in Silenced is meticulously crafted to evoke a sense of abandonment and mystery, perfectly setting the stage for a narrative driven by the search for lost memories.

The Echoes of Silenced

As the player guides Erin through the shadowy, silent halls of the school, Silenced presents a gameplay experience that is both brief and intense. Spanning just 5 to 10 minutes, the game requires players to make decisions that influence which of the two main endings they will encounter. These endings are conclusions to the game and are reflective of the complex themes of abuse and neglect woven throughout the story.
The developer of Silenced has dedicated over two weeks to this project, aiming to distinguish it visually and thematically from their other works. Inspired by the aesthetic of PSX-era graphics, the game’s visual elements are simple yet striking, designed to complement the intense, dark narrative. Offering Silenced for free reflects the developer's commitment to making their thought-provoking creation accessible to all, hoping that each player will engage deeply with the story’s themes and Erin’s haunting journey through her past.
