Cursor Camp

Game description:

Cursor Camp turns ordinary pointer movement into a multiplayer activity. Everyone enters the map as a cursor, and every motion is visible to nearby participants. A player can approach another cursor, copy its movement, lead it toward an object, or join a group gathered around an activity. Since there is no text-chat window, interaction is based on position, timing, and shared actions.

What Can Be Found Around the Map

The camp is divided into connected recreational areas. Paths lead between the lodge, beach, pool, treehouse, sauna, cave, garden, cinema, racetrack, and playing fields. Each location has objects designed for cursor interaction. Some respond to clicks, while others can be pushed, dragged, carried, or activated by moving close to them. The environment can also change through weather and other temporary effects.

Collectibles Mark Optional Progress

There are no numbered levels or mandatory chapters in Cursor Camp. Players explore the full area at their own pace and decide which goals to pursue. Seashells are hidden across the map and can be exchanged for cosmetic items. Hats and accessories modify the appearance of the pointer, making it easier to recognize among other visitors. A separate badge system records completed actions and discoveries.

Examples of camp activities include:

  • jumping from the diving board into the pool;

  • running repeated laps around the marked track;

  • moving the football toward a goal;

  • preparing a marshmallow beside the fire;

  • visiting the theater and dance area.

Looking Closely at Small Interactions

Playing requires only mouse movement and basic clicking or dragging. Reaching the border of an area moves the view to another section of the camp. Players should check furniture, corners, paths, and objects that appear decorative because some of them respond to the cursor. Other visitors can provide indirect hints when they repeatedly gather near a particular location or demonstrate an interaction.

Cursor Camp has no combat, health meter, character statistics, or final competitive result. The camp contains books, radio signals, drawings, constellations, and closed spaces that imply a larger background, but it does not explain them through a conventional story campaign. A session can end after collecting badges and seashells, yet the map remains open. Players may continue exploring, change their cursor’s appearance, or spend time interacting with whoever is currently present.
