Our Wonderland

Game description:

Our Wonderland starts with an innocent premise—a group of childhood friends once discovered a secret world beneath an old willow tree. That world was colorful, strange, and full of imagined wonder. But now, two decades later, what once felt magical returns as something disfigured. The place they thought was theirs has warped into a reflection of who they’ve become: bitter, broken, and burdened with regrets. When one of them vanishes, the others are pulled back into this distorted reality, where the rules bend and the past demands attention.

Choices That Hurt and Relationships That Fracture

The game spans five arcs, and each plays out differently depending on how you interact with others. Dialogue choices influence who lives or dies and how deep each character’s wounds are explored. Iggy, the protagonist, is constantly pulled between trying to fix what’s fractured and surviving the consequences of things left unsaid. The visual novel blends personal drama with fantasy horror, using familiar tropes—like point-and-click adventure pacing or RPG-like character routes—but warping them to amplify discomfort and emotional strain. No decision is clean, and most paths lead through loss.

Unfiltered Emotion in a Distorted World

What sets Our Wonderland apart is how raw and personal it feels. It’s not just the body horror, disturbing imagery, or sudden deaths—it’s the emotional honesty behind them. Love, shame, isolation, and fear are treated with the same weight as monsters or traps. The pixelated storybook visuals contrast with the graphic content, forcing players to sit with both innocence and violence. With detailed content warnings, multiple endings, and a remastered version underway, this is a visual novel built to tell a story—and to confront the pieces of ourselves that fantasy can’t hide forever.
