Ultrakill 2

Game description:

There is currently no official game called Ultrakill 2. The developers of ULTRAKILL have continued expanding the original game through major updates, new layers, weapons, enemies, and additional acts rather than releasing a direct sequel. Community discussions and fan projects sometimes use the name “Ultrakill 2” informally when talking about future content or unofficial modifications. The main game itself remains in active development with new chapters and gameplay systems being added over time.

Story and Setting

The story of ULTRAKILL takes place in a world where humanity has disappeared after large-scale wars and environmental collapse. Machines powered by blood descend into Hell searching for fuel after resources on Earth become exhausted. The player controls V1, a combat machine capable of repairing itself by absorbing blood from enemies during battle. Throughout the journey, V1 travels through different layers of Hell while fighting demons, angels, machines, and corrupted souls.

The game is divided into acts and layers inspired by Dante’s interpretation of Hell. Each layer contains several levels with different visual themes, enemy types, and bosses. Some areas focus on industrial ruins, while others use cathedrals, frozen landscapes, or surreal environments connected to punishment and destruction.

Gameplay and Combat Systems

Gameplay focuses on fast movement, aggressive combat, and weapon combinations. Players move through levels using dashes, wall jumps, slides, and advanced movement techniques while fighting large enemy groups. Weapons include revolvers, shotguns, nailguns, railcannons, and rocket launchers with alternate firing modes that interact with each other during combat.

The game includes features such as:

  • Fast-paced FPS combat

  • Multiple weapon combinations

  • Style ranking systems

  • Boss battles and secret levels

  • Advanced movement mechanics

Players receive style points for creative attacks, fast eliminations, and combo chains. The game rewards aggressive gameplay because healing is tied directly to collecting enemy blood during close combat.

Levels and Replayability

ULTRAKILL uses mission-based progression where players clear levels inside each layer of Hell. Every stage contains combat arenas, hidden collectibles, secret encounters, and optional challenge objectives. Performance is graded after missions based on speed, kills, style score, and survival efficiency. Higher ranks unlock additional rewards and hidden content.
